Mongolian beef noodles

  • 500gm flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz rice noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

How To Cook:

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Add sliced flank steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add minced ginger and garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked rice noodles to the pan and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
